At my school's local art fair, I sold collections of my original artwork and jewelry — cards designed with pen, pencil, and watercolor; paintings; digitally designed pins or buttons; and gemstone earrings and bracelets. With the money raised, 75% of proceeds were donated toward trail maintenance at Audubon Society of Rhode Island conservation sites:
"The mission of the Audubon Society of Rhode Island is to protect birds, other wildlife and their habitat through conservation, education and advocacy for the benefit of people and all living things."
In total, the sale raised over $200.
